Orders are dispatched twice a week, usually on a Tuesday and a Friday.

Orders are all sent via Royal Mail using their 48 hour tracked and signed for service. 

Costs for postage are as below:

  • up to 2 kg £4.80
  • 2 kg to 3 kg £6.49
  • above 3 kg £7.99

* Please be aware Tracked and Signed For 48 Hour is not guaranteed by Royal Mail, it is only an approximate timescale. If you are shopping last minute for a special occasion and need your order by a certain day, I highly recommend that you contact me and we use a guaranteed service for your delivery. 

I will let you know when your order has been dispatched, via email or a messaging service. You will also receive tracking information and updates from Royal Mail.

If you require a different postal service, i.e. First Class or courier service please contact me for a price/quotation.

I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible and recycle as much as possible. Don’t be surprised if your order turns up in a pre-used box! It's what's inside that matters! However, if you require your parcel to be smarter in appearance let me know.

I can offer a bespoke gift wrapping service for any occasion and send your gift to the lucky recipient. A message can be added on your behalf. 


If you require shipping to countries other than the UK please contact me with your order requirements and address so that I can obtain a price/quotation for you. I will find the cost of postage for you and you will be charged that amount.

Please bare in mind that you many incur duties and import costs and these will need to be paid by you to the relevant authorities.

All information processed through my website is encrypted and passed through a secure connection to ensure your sensitive data remains private to you. I use Internet standard encryption technology which scrambles your sensitive data when you transmit it to me. This technology is known as a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and I am constantly reviewing the technology I use to provide you with the maximum level of security whilst using my website.

Information which is obtained about you is used purely for order processing in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations). I will not sell, or share, your personal information to any third parties.

Information, personal to my customers, is used in the following ways:

  • To efficiently process orders.

  • To efficiently deliver orders. Royal Mail and any other courier used, are provided with your name and address in order to deliver your goods.

  • When I am provided with an email address and a mobile telephone number I will pass this information on to the courier so that you receive updates via email and text, notifying you of the status of your delivery.

  • I will generally only contact you by telephone if I experience issues related to order processing or if I suspect that fraudulent activity has taken place. If I suspect fraudulent activity has taken place, I may disclose personal information, if so required, to the police.

1. Dispatch Policy.

While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock, I offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer of sale. Goods are normally dispatched within 72 hours of receiving your order and you will receive notification of dispatch and tracking details from Royal Mail. If I am unable to dispatch your order within 7 days, I will contact you by e-mail or telephone with an estimated dispatch date and offer you the option of cancelling the order.

2. Prices and Tax.   

The price shown for the goods excludes postage and packing. Postage charges will be added at checkout, or manually by myself for bespoke postal services. You, the customer, will be made aware of postal charges as you complete check out. The charge is calculated by the website.
We reserve the right to change prices and specifications without notice.

3.Cancellation and Returns.

If you are not satisfied with the goods you have received, or have made an error when you placed your order, you have a right to cancel your contract with Chic Cheval Brush Store within 14 days of receipt of your order. You may return all, or part, of your order to receive either replacement goods or a full refund, less postage costs. 

Please note that any 'Special Orders'  or 'Personalised' orders are non returnable. A 'Special Order' is any product that you have asked to buy that is not included in Chic Cheval Brush Stores usual range of stock. A 'Personalised' item is any item that Chic Cheval Brush Store has had customised for you.

Any 'Sales' items are not returnable. A 'Sales' item in any item that has had its price reduced within The Store/Website. 


Should you wish to cancel your order once you have placed it, please contact me as soon as possible to prevent your order being shipped. I will then action a refund to you via your original payment method.

If you have received your goods and wish to cancel your order i.e return all or some of your goods, you have 14 days from receipt of your goods to notify me of any returns you would like to make.     

Your cancellation needs to be in writing via an email or messenger service. I will issue you with a returns number along with a returns address. Your item/s need to be received by myself with 14 days of issuing the returns number to you. 


  • I do not reimburse the postage charges in either direction unless the goods are faulty.
  • You must make your own arrangements to return the goods to me. Please use a tracked and signed for service because I cannot accept any liability in the event of goods going missing or non-delivery.
  • The item/s need to be returned to me in perfect unused condition with all original packaging and labels.
  • Please enclose a covering note showing the returns number and advising me if you wish to exchange the item you are returning for another product. There will be a postage fee if you require a further item/s to be sent out to you. I will contact you with regards to this.
  • A refund will be issued to you via your original payment method.
  • Please note it make take up to 5 working days for the refund to show in your bank account or on your card.

In the extremely unlikely event of goods needing to be returned because they are faulty please contact me for a returns number and returns address.
  • Under no circumstances should an item be used when you consider it to be damaged or faulty on arrival, because you will be deemed to have accepted the goods in their condition. If you find the fault after initial use, please immediately cease to use the product.
  • In the event that you have a faulty item that is not repairable, a replacement will be issued.
  • If you are sending a faulty product back for replacement I do require the product to be received by myself before supplying a replacement. 
  • There is no postage charge to send you your repaired or replaced item.
  • You must make your own arrangements to return the goods to me. Please use a tracked and signed for service because I cannot accept any liability in the event of goods going missing or non-delivery.
  • Return postage will only be refunded up to the cost of Royal Mails 48 Hour Tracked and Signed for service.
  • In some cases i.e Clipper and Trimmer returns, there may be a delay in returning your items to you due to them having to be forwarded to my supplier for repair and then the item having to be returned to me. I will make every effort to keep you updated of progress in this eventuality.
Please note items purchased from my trade stand, or collected in person are not available for refund but a credit note will be offered with 28 days of purchase subject to proof of purchase. 

4. Colours.

The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors. If colours vary drastically from the item description I will contact you.

5. Confidentiality.

All confidential information is held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form (via SSL). We do not hold any credit/debit card details as all payments are handled through a third party i.e. PayPal, Stripe and Sum-Up. Customer details are not passed on to third parties and are used only in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).

6. Indemnity.

You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.

7. Jurisdiction.

The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

8. Consumer Rights.

None of the above Terms and Conditions affect your statutory consumer rights.
